In October 2019, I started preparing a souvenir shop in Yoyogi, Tokyo, featuring Japanese folk art and original products. Then,  it opened in mid-January of the following year, and Covit-19 was spreading. I tried to see how things went for a few months, but I decided to close the shop. Time passed, I hardly saw anyone and just gazed at the world. Sometimes when I looked outside, I felt that the world was somehow far away and I was the only one in the world.

In order for online shop to begin, I thought about the concept again. Physical shop and online shop are different. The physical shop was for foreign tourists. So I collected products based on Japanese culture by my choice. But now there is only me, and the shop is in my imagination. I thought about it for three years. At the end of my thoughts, I finally realized that I was on a journey of thought. And then the journey will continue as long as I live. Wouldn't it be nice to have the souvenir of my thought journey? By the way, my friends say ”You have good taste in souvenirs!”.

Now, the new souvenir shop is open.
