Koi Carp T-shirt [ Hyakunin Isshu ]

[ How to Transform Koi Carp into T-shirts ]
1. Remove the koi carp from plastic wrap.
2. Soak it in water or warm water.
3. Wait a few minutes and spread it slowly.

[ Hyakunin Isshu T-shirts ]
Hyakunin Isshu is a classical Japanese anthology of one hundred poems by one hundred legendary poets. These poems are in a style called “Waka" in Japanese. Waka consists of a total of 31 characters and five lines of 5-7-5-7-7, and uses a variety of complex rules. The many wonderful metaphors, homages to past masterpieces etc, they are timeless and resonate in our hearts.  Also the most popular theory for the selection of Hyakunin Isshu is  "Fujiwara no Teika (1162- 1241)" who is known as the greatest poet in Japanese history.
This T-shirt was designed using a card game called "Ogura Hyakunin Isshu”. It is a popular game in Japan, where players listen to the uper phrase(The 5-7-5 part is called "Kami no ku".) of a randomly selected and read Waka, and then fight over the cards with the lower phrase(The 7-7 part is called “Shimo no ku".) words on them. These are older designs of the "lower phrase" cards.
